My equestrian commissions celebrate the beauty and tradition found within equestrian sport. Each painting is created with intention, using high-quality, archival materials to craft heirloom works of art that is for both horse owners wanting a unique portrait of their horse, as well as collectors or designers interested in equestrian-styled works to fit their aesthetic vision. My style combines classic techniques with a contemporary sensibility, capturing not only the physical presence of the horse, but also their individual characters, in an elegant and sophisticated manner.
I work with clients and collectors who share a deep appreciation for the equestrian lifestyle— who value craftsmanship, tradition, and the artistry of timeless pieces. Commissions are completed in oil on Belgian linen or cotton canvas. Whenever possible, I prefer to meet and photograph the subject myself, however if this is not feasible, then I will require a good quality photograph in an exact or similar pose to how you would like the commission to be completed.
